ASA CHARLTON - Defender (Captain)

A trainee at Kidderminster Harriers, Asa failed to make the grade at Aggborough and joined local side Willenhall Town. His form soon attracted the attentions of bigger clubs in non-league and he joined Telford United before the start of the 1997-1998 season where made a handful of appearances at the Buck Head, before leaving at the end of the season to move to America. After a year in the States, Asa returned to the UK, turning out for the British Universities team for a spell before returning to the non-league ranks with spells at Rushall Olympic and Stourport Swifts. Asa can also add Worcester City and Halesowen Town to his list of clubs before he signed for his first

He recovered his form the following season and moved up the leagues to join Southern Premier side Halesowen Town in May 2005. However, he was limited to four substitute appearances for the Yeltz and rejoined Willenhall in August that year. His goalscoring form for Rovers attracted the interest of local rivals, Kidderminster Harriers. He joined Kiddy on non-contract terms in 2007, but failed to impress and was released towards the end of the season and rejoined Bromsgrove in May of that year. His previous purple patch at the Victoria Ground could not be matched, and by Christmas 2007, he had joined Southern League Midlands side Evesham United.
