Important Matchday Information ....
In an effort to help generate much needed funds for the Club, the board of Directors have taken the decision to introduce a
£1.00 car parking charge (per car) along with a £1.00 charge to transfer to the seated area of the main stand on match days from Saturday October 17th.
These decisions have not been taken lightly but have been made following extensive research throughout the member clubs of the Conference North, South and Premier Leagues where it was found that many of the member clubs already charge for both of these and have done so for many seasons. In fact some clubs, charge as much as £2.00 for car parking.
The charges will obviously apply to both home and away supporters and although the board of Directors do not expect fans to be happy with these initiatives they hope that they will understand the reasons why they have taken these actions.
The above charges will not come into force until the home game against Farsley Celtic on Saturday October 17th.
A car parking 'season ticket' is available from Steve Shannon (General Manager) in the club office (01527-67450) for just £10.00 for the rest of the season (with 15 more home league games plus the possibility of home cup ties this represents a saving of at least £5.00)
The car parking 'season ticket' will remain available for the rest of the season and its price will be reduced on a pro-rata basis.
