Reds Defensive Stalwart Leaves ....

Reds stalwart defender, Liam Francis, has decided to leave The Valley Stadium and sign for

Zamaretto Premier League side, Hednesford Town. Liam (or Spider to those who know him

well) has left The Reds for personal reasons and leaves with the gratitude and best wishes

of all at Redditch Utd F.C.

Liam has been an absolute rock at the heart of the Reds defence this season missing just a

single match all season and his 8 goals this campaign make him the clubs leading goalscorer

so his all round contribution will be sorely missed.

Liam started his career at Coventry City before being released and joining Stratford Town where

he played under Micky Moore, he then left Statford and signed for The Reds in the summer of 2009.
