Francis Strikes Are To No Avail .....

Saturday 5th December 2009

Farsley celtic 4 vs 3 Redditch United

A late Gareth Grant strike proved the difference between the two sides in a thriller

in Yorkshire.

Redditch probably deserved a share of the points after taking the lead twice.

Roy Stamas opened the scoring for Farsley on 25 yards straight from a free kick

and would go on to score a hat-trick.

Andy Ducros put Reds level on 37 minutes before Liam Francis hit the first of his

two goals on 49 minutes to give the visitors the lead.

Stamas squared it up on 68 before Francis again put Redditch ahead on 75 minutes.

But Stamas completed his hat-trick five minutes later and Grant got the winner four minutes from time to leave Reds pointless.
