The 2010/11 Season First Team Squad ....


Robbie Ager - Midfielder

Robbie joined the Reds this season from local Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League side Church Hill F.C. A local Redditch lad and an avid Red’s fan, Robbie is a pacey midfielder who is not afraid to put his foot in where it hurts, his combatitive style and committed performances, coupled with his local connection will ensure that he gets plenty of support from the loyal Reds fans.

DANNY LEWIS - Goalkeeper

Danny is one of the reds ...


Louis Hamilton - Midfielder

Louis is a 19 year old, pacey right winger who loves to get the ball wide and drive down the wings at every opportunity. Louis is a product of Hinckley Utd’s Youth system and spent some time with Peterborough Utd, he played for Hinckley Downes last season as well as making 12 first team appearances for Hinckley Utd in the Blue Square North league. Released in the summer, Louis decided to continue working on his game at this level by signing for the Reds, he is a bright prospect and has a lot of potential and just needs matches to help him mature as a player and develop his game further



Marlon Walters - Midfielder

26 year old, combative midfielder, Marlon started his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he

had worked his way up through the ranks and was Captain of their Reserve Team. He then joined

Hednesford Town and was a member of the Pitmen's 2004/05 season, Southern League

promotion play off final team. After leaving Hednesford, Marlon played for Bromsgrove Rovers

before returning to Hednesford last season.

Luke Keen - Midfield/Striker

Luke is a 20 year old attack minded, midfield/forward player who worked his way through the youth ranks

at Tamworth and went on to make 3 first team appearances for them in season 2006/07 scoring 2 goals.

Luke has had 2 spells at Sheepy Road playing for Atherstone Town but he has also played for Highgate

United and Tamworth where he made first team appearances. A quick attacking player, Luke has

worked his was through the ranks of the Tamworth FC Youth set up.

Dexter Ravenhill - Striker

Dexter is in his second season at Redditch United Dexter’s previous clubs include Crewe Alexandra, Walsall Youth and Australian side South West Phoenix. Dexter joined us from Evesham Utd but his career started at Crewe where he was a regular part of their Youth side for 2 seasons, he was offered a contract for a 3rd term but chose to move on to, then league 1 side, Walsall where he spent 2 seasons. During his time at The Saddlers he joined Chasetown on loan before being released and moving on to sign for local rivals Bromsgrove Rovers before his move to Evesham Utd earlier this season.

Jamie Insall - Striker

Jamie is another new signing this season, Jamie is a striker who joins us from Stourport Swifts. Jamie started his career as a member of Kidderminster Harriers Youth system before he was released in 2009 and joined Stourport Swifts. Jamie scored regularly for The Swifts last season and as a result was invited back to Aggborough for pre-season training with the Harriers but instead Jamie chose to link up with the Reds.

Matt Smith - Striker

Matt is a tall, powerful centre forward who dominates opposition penalty areas with his physique and aerial prowess, he has just returned to the UK after playing for and attending Arizona State University in the USA. Matt is highly rated and at just 21 years of age still has a lot of potential and he has already attracted interest from several other Conference North clubs with his performances this season.




Dan Carter - Striker

Dan is an 18 year old, prolific striker who came through the Redditch Utd F.C. Youth system. Dan is in his second season with us but previously had been playing for the Youth team in the prestigious Midland Junior Premier League.

Marco Adaggio - Striker

22 year old Marco is a proven goal scorer and was Worcester City's top scorer in season 2008/09 with 15 goals. Marco started his career at Shrewsbury Town making his debut at 18 in the 3-0 home win over Oxford United. He spent a brief spell at Bangor City in 2007 before moving to Stafford Rangers then on to join Worcester City. Marco spent a successful month on loan with the Reds towards the end of last season and his goals and overall quality helped secure the Red’s place in the league for this season making him an instant hit with the fans.
