New Match Day Pricing Structure Announced ....
Following a board meeting on Wednesday June 24th, the Club are pleased to announce
their match day pricing structure for season 2009/10.
Entry to The Valley Stadium next season will be as follows;
£8.00 Adults
£5.00 Concessions – Over 65's and Students on production of a valid NUS card.
£1.00 Kids – Under 16's
Season ticket prices will be £145.00 Adults and £80.00 Concessions (as above)
Club Chairman, Ken Rae, said of the price re-structuring, 'We have listened to our supporters and are sympathetic to their situation considering the current economic climate and have therefore decided to reduce match day entry prices from last season by up to 20% (based on 08/09 season adult price) in the hope that we can give a little bit back to those who have been loyal to us and also hopefully encourage more of the local community to come along and support their local club. A club is nothing without it's fans and we want to ensure that we do what we can to make it affordable for our supporters to come down to The Valley and get behind the team. With the exciting young squad Gary (Whild) and Micky (Moore) are putting together, we are all excited about the season ahead. If we can build on how we finished last season, playing some of the best football we have seen for many years, it would be great for our fans to share that with us and be a part of what we hope will be a good season for us' Ken added, 'Children are the future hard core supporters at any football club and should be encouraged to attend as often as possible, we want to build a reputation for being a family club and therefore want to encourage parents to come along with their children and share the Redditch Utd experience together so we have decided to keep the 'kids for a quid' initiative for the whole of the coming season which means that a Dad (or Mum) and his Son (or Daughter) can watch a match together for just £9.00'
Ken also confirmed that the club are finalising the shedule of pre-season friendly matches and are just waiting confirmation from a couple of teams before they are published hopefully early next week.
