The Redditch United club shop recently underwent a much needed make over to coincide with the new era at the Club and the recent take over by Chris Swan, the work included extending the shop to house part of the new Redditch United Museum.

Chairman Chris Swan opens the new look club shop with (from L-R) TRUST members Joe Rawlings, Jack Rawlings and Jeff Watson
Speaking on behalf of the TRUST Jeff Watson said “intially I had the idea for a museum after a local resident donated 30 or more Redditch Programmes ranging from 1947 to 1953 and from there with the help of TRUST members, and the club, we were able to develope the idea further. The shop is now much bigger and houses a programme stall, a tuck shop, club shop and museum.” Jeff added, “It was great for Chris Swan to officially open the new shop and it shows that he isĀ not just interested in the club as it is today but that he is interested in the heritage and history of the club, the new look shop and museum generated a lot of interest at the official opening during the recent ‘fun day’ at The Valley Stadium and a few purchases were made as well.”
The new Club shop will be open as usual on Match Days
