The first team play at a semi-professional level in the Southern Premier League at ‘step 7′ of the football pyramid (level 1 being the Barclays Premier League). The first team play their home matches at The Valley Stadium on Saturday afternoons, kick off at 3.00pm and Tuesday evenings, kick off at 7.45pm. The team also take part in The F.A. Cup, F.A. Trophy, Birmingham Senior Cup and Worcester Senior Cup competitions.
The Under 21′s team play in the Midland Combination Under 21′s League and are a new addition to the club this season as we look to try and bridge the gap between the Under 18′s Youth team and the first team. This is a vital stepping stone to develop the young players through the club’s ranks and with the option to play up to 3 ‘over age’ players in matches it also allows any first team players returning from injury to get valuable game time under their belts ahead of their return to first team action. The team play their home matches at The Valley Stadium on Saturdays kick off at 12.00pm
The Stratford Alliance team will play as an open age team (over 16 years) in the Stratford Alliance League. The team will play at South Redditch Sports and Social Club, Throckmorton Road, Redditch on Saturday afternoons kick off at 2.00pm. The team offers those youth players that may not be quite ready to make the step up to the first team another opportunity to play under the club’s banner at a good standard.
The Club’s ‘Charter Standard Community Status’ Youth and Junior section has many Teams ranging from Under 7′s up to and including Under 18′s (Youth) age groups who play in various leagues on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season at various locations across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Redditch United Girls Football Club was founded in December 1995. Training began with a small group of girls on the car park at the Valley Stadium. Week by week the numbers increased. In the first year they represented Redditch in the Worcestershire Games and the Birmingham Football festival and also other 5 a-side competitions during the summer. In their first season they had two teams at U12 and U14, and now have now grown significantly since those early days with teams at mini soccer, ages around five year old through to open age.
