Girls Teams

As a Club, our ‘GOAL’ is to bring football to as many girls in the community as possible. Of those who have attended our training session, many have stayed, some have not, some play in the league and others just want to train, but all have had the opportunity to try.

No girl is turned away due to lack of experience or ability. Our other aim is to train both adults and the older girls (who want to) to coach and develop the confidence and ability to train others. To encourage them to learn all aspects of Association Football including:

  • Refereeing
  • Working with Children
  • First Aid
  • F A Coaching courses
  • F A Child Protection
  • The prevention and treatment of injuries

All abilities are catered for, from the absolute beginner to advance levels.

So RUGFC is not just about playing, but a great deal more:

  • Making friends
  • Working as a team
  • Having fun
  • Developing individual skills, in both Players and volunteers

So why not come along to our weekly training session
