The Chairman had the foresight to recognise the Youth potential at the clubs disposal and has encouraged their progression through U21 and Reserve team football this season. Special praise must be given to both Julian and Justin having provided the platform via RUFC U21 and Reserves respectively for player development and have been rewarded with their vision by players rising to the challenges they have offered. As a consequence the U18 team have flourished with players being given a genuine incentive with the opportunity to progress their careers with Redditch United FC.
Local players are critical to the success of the whole club and RUFC welcome any enquiries we could generate regards local player talent.
It is imperative that we get supporters along to watch this team perform on Wednesday evenings and are implored to support them in the upcoming final. I’m sure everyone will adopt a genuine support that they can feel an ownership too in the knowlegde that their local team has one of the most exciting group of players in the country.
