Three New Faces In ....

The Reds have again been busy in the transfer market with 3 more signings today.

First to join is former Valley favourite, Matty Gardiner, who joins from local neighbours, Bromsgrove

Rovers. Matty was an integral part of the Reds squad that did 'the double' in 2006 winning promotion

to the Conference North League. A no-nonsense defender, 35 year old Matty will add valuable

experience to the Reds back line and he links up again with former team mate, Danny Scheppel,

who recently made the same move for his 2nd spell at the club.

Also joining the Reds is left sided defender, Darren Campion, who has transferred from local rivals

Solihull Moors. 22 year old Darren started his career as a youth team player at Birmingham City before

being released in 2007 following City's return to the Premier League, he then had trials with

Shrewsbury Town and Hereford United before signing for League One outfit Carlisle United making

his debut in April 2008 at Millwall as a second half substitute. Darren left Carlisle in 2009 before joining

the Moors in October 2009.

The third new face joining the Reds is Marco Adagio, the Worcester City striker who joins on a months

loan deal. 24 year old Marco is a proven goal scorer and was City's top scorer last season with 15 goals,

he joined the club in the summer of 2008 from Stafford Rangers and started his career at Shrewsbury Town

before spells with AFC Telford United and Bangor City.

All 3 players should be available and in the squad for tonight's crucial trip to Stafford Rangers with the

Reds needing to get points to pull away from the drop zone.
