Two New Faces Join To Bolster Defence ....

The Reds have today further strengthened their squad with the signings of two defenders from

local teams, Romulus and Rushall Olympic.

The first to sign is Richard Munday from Zamaretto Midlands League side Romulus. 22 year old

Richard is a quick, commanding and agile centre back who is capable of causing problems in the

opposition penalty box from set pieces, Richard has previously played for Solihull Borough, Ilkeston

Town and Stratford Town. Richard, an ever present for Romulus and also a fan's favourite, will go

straight into the squad for tomorrow's long trip to Workington.

The second new face to sign is Gary Moran, who joins from Unibond Division One South side,

Rushall Olympic. Gary is 27 years old and is a right sided player who is comfortable in both full back

and midfield roles and can list Grimsby Town, Gresley Rovers, Stratford Town and Solihull Borough

amongst his former clubs. Gary, like Richard, goes straight into the squad for tomorrows Cumbrian

clash against Workington and as a former team mate of Richard Munday's, from their days at Stratford

Town, they will hopefully settle in quickly and build that all important defensive understanding which

could prove vital to ensuring the Reds tighten up defensively and grab valuable points from their 12

remaining fixtures.

The Reds are also hopeful of bringing in yet another new face next week and we will update the

website as and when this is confirmed.
