Redditch United Fixtures and Results: the Next Match, October 2026

Every Redditch United fixture and every Redditch United result this season on one sheet, with the Redditch scorers where the league records them. Re-read from the league's own record once a day.

Redditch United fixtures: the next match and what follows

The next Redditch United fixture is Needham Market, at home, on Saturday 31 October at 15:00 in the Premier Central.

31 Redditch United fixtures remain on the published list, 16 of them at the Valley Stadium. Kick-off times move, and a postponed non-league fixture is usually re-dated rather than cancelled, so the list below is the league's current version rather than a promise.

The next match sits at the top of the table below, and the whole run after it in date order. Anyone searching for redditch fc fixtures rather than the full name will find the same list; there is only one first team.

Redditch United results so far this season

18 played: 5 won, 10 drawn, 3 lost, 22 scored and 19 conceded.

Of the 18 matches played, 9 were at home and 9 away. The Redditch United results below carry the score from the club's point of view rather than home-first, so a 1–3 is a defeat wherever it was played, and the W, D and L token repeats that in a form the scoreline alone does not.

The scorers so far: Szhem Whyte-Hall (10), Tyler Bruck (3), William Fielding (2), Harrison Hazard (2), Dan Sweeney (2), Alex Cameron, Robbie Bunn, Joel Shambrook. Goal times and penalties are in the table. Where a Redditch United result shows no scorer, the league has not published the detail for that match yet.

How the fixtures fall across the season

Matches per month, played and unplayed together. This is the one thing a fixture list will not tell you at a glance.

Matches per month, league and cup together. The busiest month is September ’26 with 7. Congestion at this level is not planned so much as accumulated: postponed fixtures are re-dated into whatever weeks are free, so a quiet month early on usually means a crowded one later.

How a non-league fixture calendar is built and rebuilt

The league issues a fixture list in the summer covering all forty-two matches, and it starts changing almost immediately. Cup competitions are drawn as they go: the FA Cup qualifying rounds in the early autumn, the FA Trophy from the autumn, and the county cups whenever the county association schedules them. Each drawn tie displaces a league fixture, which is then re-dated into a free midweek.

Weather does the rest. A 3G surface removes most of the postponement risk at the Valley Stadium itself, but half the fixtures are away, and a grass pitch at an away ground in January is postponed on the referee's inspection rather than by agreement. Every postponement has to land somewhere, and there are only so many Tuesdays.

Midweek matches in this division kick off on a Monday at 19:45, which is unusual in English football and worth planning around. For a club with a working squad and a travelling support, a Monday night away fixture two hundred miles from home is the hardest date on the calendar, and a run of them in February is what a congested spring actually looks like.

The practical advice for anyone using this page: the dates for the next two or three matches are firm, the dates a month out are provisional, and the dates in the second half of the season are a plan. The list is re-read from the league's record daily, so it reflects the current plan rather than the one published in July.

Home and away, and why the split matters here

Home advantage is worth more at step three than it is in a professional division, and for unglamorous reasons. The travelling side has usually come by minibus or by car after work, the pitch is unfamiliar, and at a ground with an artificial surface the visitors may not have played on one for a month. A club with a run of home fixtures in a congested spell is in a materially better position than one with the reverse.

The scores on this page are written from Redditch's point of view, not home-first, which is unusual for a results table and deliberate. A supporter reading a results list wants to know whether the club won, and a home-first convention makes that a two-step calculation on every away row.

Abandonments, walkovers and how the record treats them

Three things happen at this level that rarely happen higher up, and all three affect what appears in a results list. A match can be abandoned after kick-off, in which case the competition decides whether it is replayed in full, awarded, or expunged. A club can fail to fulfil a fixture, which is usually awarded to the opponent with a points deduction attached. And a club can fold mid-season, at which point its record may be removed from the table entirely and every result against it deleted.

Redditch have been on both sides of that. A home match against Chesham United in October 2011 was abandoned after a player struck the referee. In the 2010/11 FA Trophy the club went through to the first round proper without playing, because the opponents drawn against them folded before the tie.

None of those outcomes is a scoreline, and none of them fits a results table cleanly. Where the league's record carries a match without goals and without a status of full time, this page shows a dash rather than inventing a result for it.

All Redditch United games in one list, played and unplayed, in date order.

The Redditch United games on this page cover Premier Central and Emirates FA Cup and FA Trophy. County cup ties are added by the competition organisers, not by the league, so they can appear later than the league programme and are listed here as soon as the league's record carries them.

Between one next match and the following one a fixture list at this level can change more than once, which is why these redditch fc fixtures are re-read from the league every day rather than typed out once.

For the table these results produce, and for the club's finishing position in every previous season of this division, see the standings page.

The Southern League table and previous seasons

Frequently asked questions

When is the next Redditch United match?

31 October 2026, 15:00 — at home to Needham Market in the Premier Central. This page reads the league's record once a day, so a postponement or a re-arrangement shows here the day the league enters it.

What is the record so far this season?

Across all competitions: 18 played, 5 won, 10 drawn, 3 lost, 22 scored and 19 conceded — 9 at the Valley and 9 away. The league table counts league matches only, which is 12 of those: 4 won, 5 drawn, 3 lost. That is why this page and the standings show different totals.

Why does a match show a dash instead of a score?

Because the league's record carries the fixture without a full-time result: abandoned, awarded, or not yet entered. This page prints a dash instead of inventing a scoreline for it, which is also why the match count and the table's played column can differ for a day or two after a round.

Are cup matches included?

They are listed here with the league programme and marked with their competition, but they are not counted in the league table. A cup tie is a Redditch match and belongs on a fixtures page; it is not a league result and does not belong in a league standing.

What time do midweek matches kick off?

Monday evenings at 19:45, which is unusual for this league and worth checking before travelling. Saturday matches are at 15:00 unless the league moves them.
